JAN, 2010

The SMi Group are proud to present their 3rd Annual Electronic Laboratory Notebooks conference, which aims to address the current pressing issues in this exciting part of the industry – from strategies for implementing an ELN, through the legal implications, to issues with archiving. The wide range of topics covered will allow delegates to ensure that they understand all that is involved with planning and carrying out an ELN implementation, as well as the reasons why they should consider ELN.

*NEW SPEAKER CONFIRMED*: We are pleased to announce that Ian Menzies from AstraZeneca has just confirmed to speak at the conference – he will address the issue of maximizing the benefit to your organisation of ELN by freeing up the knowledge and data held within it.

The conference will hear from Michael Kopach of Eli Lilly who will discuss optimal strategies for implementing ELN and the difficulties of maintaining laboratory productivity during the transition.
Delegates will also be shown how Johnson & Johnson (by Antonio Gomez) and GlaxoSmithKline (by Carla Marchioro) went about moving in to the ELN arena.

The legal framework for laboratory data management will be addressed by Brian Cordery of Bristows, the question of long-term archiving will be tackled by Jan Hauß of Merck and the related matter of LIMS will be explored by Omer Casher of GlaxoSmithKline.

Our keynote speakers include:

•Letitia Fearon, Senior Scientist, Data Support and Management, Pfizer
•Brian Cordery, Partner, Bristows
•Charlie Sodano, Founder, eOrganizedWorld
